In earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/www.everestnotariaat.com\/en\/update-extension-of-the-possibility-of-a-digital-shareholders-meeting\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #3366ff;\">blogs<\/span><\/a> we regularly informed you about the possibilities for a virtual shareholders\u2019 meeting. The past years the law has been tacitly extended by periods of two months.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Emergency law not extended<\/strong><\/span><br \/>The minister of Justice has informed the Dutch Senate and House of Representatives about the intention not to extend the emergency law by February 1st 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The possibilities for a virtual shareholders\u2019 meeting will therefore cease to exist. According to the minister the present circumstances give no longer reason to extend the emergency law, even with increasing corona infections.
